GDAHC received a $999,896 two-year grant from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to aid families and landlords affected by lead poisoning. The program, Operation LEAP Detroit, includes partners Detroit Lead Partnership, City Connect Detroit, Wayne State University, Detroit Health Department, NAACP-Detroit Branch, Children’s Hospitalof Michigan, City of Detroit Planning Commission, City of Detroit Planning and Development Department, CLEARCorps/Detroit, Leadbusters and the Traverse Group.

This web site houses information about the problem of lead poisoning, as well as a registry of lead-addressed rental units.
